My name is Osman Akin. I am a Dutch-Turkish artist from the Netherlands, based in Rotterdam.
I was introduced to the painting medium in 2020 by Wiebren Altena during the first COVID-19 lockdown. We started painting together, resulting in the Spaces collection. I continued producing solo since 2022.
My work is about the different ways our mind and bodies express or deal with physical and mental space. With my art, I seek to pay my bills while at the same time empowering and educating people with my learnings.
